Police raids in Southern Metro yield P2.7M value of unlawful medicine


Police on arresting Chinese national for illegal possession of firearms

MANILA, Philippines — Police seized P2.7 million value of unlawful medicine in a sequence of operations throughout Southern Metro Manila.

In a report on Wednesday, Southern Police District (SPD) stated it had performed 44 targeted operations, which resulted within the arrests of 58 people from June 19 to 25.

“These operations resulted within the confiscation of considerable quantities of unlawful medicine, together with 404.79 grams of shabu and three.6 grams of marijuana, with a complete normal drug worth worth of P2,753,004,” the SPD revealed.

SPD director Normal Leon Rosete stated these week-long operations align with the police’s dedication to a drug-free setting.
