Haley Heynderickx has launched her first new track in six years. It’s referred to as ‘Seed of a Seed’, and it options Heynderickx on vocals and acoustic guitar, William Seiji Marsh on tenor guitar, Caleigh Drane on cello and string association, and Matthew Holmes on double bass. “I first despatched a demo of ‘Seed of a Seed’ to my good friend Tré Burt and he liked it,” Heynderickx shared in a press release. “For 3 years he stored asking me if I’d completed the ‘higher higher’ track. It felt like a throwaway track to me, at first. It’s so easy, however I didn’t understand how a lot angst I’d woven into it: a want for simplicity, and the way distant that felt. It appears I by accident pressed my story — the final 4 years of my life — right into a tiny little tune and I adore it now, too.”
Heynderickx’s debut album, I Must Begin a Backyard, got here out in 2018.
