The Naked-shanked Screech-Owl is discovered from Costa Rica to excessive northwest Colombia. Giant for a screech-owl. Heat rufous-brown general, brightest on face, which doesn’t have a definite black border like most different screech-owls. Coarsely marked on stomach.
