Beatriz Zobel de Ayala, matriarch of the household behind the nation’s oldest conglomerate, has died, Ayala Corp. confirmed to the Inquirer on Tuesday. She was 88.
The corporate stated the information was shared with Ayala workers, and that “the household requests privateness throughout this most tough time.”
